Are you looking for a new and exciting way to stay active this winter? Do you want to try your hand at a unique, historic and truly Canadian sport? Or are you just looking for a friendly and fun way to meet new people? Look no further than the Lakefield Curling Club!
Our club is welcoming and inclusive, and we offer a variety of programs leagues and events for curlers of all skill levels. Don’t know how to curl yet and always wanted to try it? Our "Learn to Curl" program is perfect for beginners, and our experienced instructors will have you delivering stones and sweeping your way to victory in no time.
But curling isn't just a sport - it's a social activity, too! Our club is a great place to meet new friends and connect within your community. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete newcomer, you'll have a blast on the ice with us. We have a flexible fee structure that will meet your needs (see below) and a wide variety of leagues from daytime to evenings; mixed and not; competitive to social (see our leagues).
The Lakefield Curling Club is a Member owned and managed club. Members volunteer and help out at the club, which is a great way to meet other new friends and get involved in your club.

Leagues/Programs
The Lakefield Curling club has a slate of programs, leagues and schedules designed to suit new curlers, daytime friends, late-day and evening competitors - even curling for kids, club bonspiels and the The Peterborough and Area interclub league! See our list of leagues and programs here.
Fees
We offer a flexible fee structure depending on how frequently you wish to curl and the program you join. The following shows the most common membership types and fees for the 2025/26 season.
Learn to Curl - 8 week program in the fall - $150
1 game per week full year - $575
2 games per week full year - $705
3 games or more per week full year - $825
