Our Leagues
Learn to Curl
An adult Learn to Curl program for those who have never curled or who have not curled for some time and would like a skills update. The course runs on Sunday mornings for 8 weeks starting October and finishes with a fun spiel. This course provides the basic skills you need to enjoy curling plus the rules and etiquette of the game. Instruction on delivering from the hack or with a stick is provided and individuals are allowed to proceed at their own pace. All equipment is supplied.

Novice Curlers League
Relaxed tag-draw sessions for recent Learn to Curl graduates. Get into the swing of competition and try out all four positions.

Junior Curlers
Looking for a fun, active, and social sport for your child this season? Join our Junior Curling Program — the perfect introduction to curling for kids and teens ages 6 to 18. Whether your child is brand new to curling or looking to build on what they know, our certified instructors will teach them the basics in a supportive, team-focused environment. This league is sponsored by the Lakefield Lions Club so there is no cost to the registrant. It can accommodate the first 32 registrants.

Senior Men’s League
Looking to stay active, social, and competitive this season? Join our Senior Men’s Curling League, a fun and welcoming league for men aged 50+ who enjoy the strategy, camaraderie, and tradition of curling. Whether you're a long-time curler or returning after some time away, this league offers a great balance of friendly competition and good company. Men registered in this league will alternate between early and late morning draws. Teams will be set by the drawmaster.

Tuesday Senior Team Entry
Think your team has what it takes? Join our Team Competitive Curling League and put your skills to the test in a high-level, strategy-driven environment. This league is for experienced curlers who enjoy solid competition and the thrill of the game. Men 50 and and over - Women 45 and over are eligible to play. Teams will alternate between early and late afternoon draws.
Tuesday @ 12:30pm & 3:00pm.
Doubles League
Join our exciting Doubles Curling League, perfect for curlers of all skill levels! This fast-paced, two-player format offers more strategy, and more fun. A new, growing form of curling, two to a team and five rocks to be delivered.
Tuesday @ 6:30pm and 8:15pm.

Men's Wednesday Night
Get ready for fast-paced action and fun competition in our Men’s Semi-Competitive Evening League! This league is designed for experienced players looking to test their skills in a structured, high-energy environment. This league is open to men aged 19 to 80. Teams will be set by the league drawmaster.

Monday Open Team Entry
This is an open team entry competitive entry league with 2 alternates. Enter your own team. If you don't already have a team, the league drawmaster will try to assign you to a team if it is at all possible.

Daytime Ladies (once/week)
Ready to sweep into a new season of curling? Whether you’re aiming for the button or just in it for the laughs, our Ladies Curling League is the perfect blend of camaraderie and competition. Open to all skill levels, our league welcomes beginners looking to learn the ropes and seasoned curlers hungry for a challenge. Each week, teams hit the ice for spirited games that are as much about good sportsmanship and friendships as they are about strategy and skill. Teams in this league will be set by the league drawmaster.
Mondays at 1:30pm, Tuesdays at 9:00am, or Thursdays at 9:00am or 1:00pm.

Friday Mixed Draw
Looking for a relaxed, social way to enjoy your Fridays? Our Friday Afternoon Recreational Curling League is the perfect way to have fun, stay active, and meet great people — no competitive pressure, just good curling and good company! Teams are set by the Draw Master based on the curlers requests and abilities and the teams are reshuffled 4 times per year to promote social mixing. Several past Learn to Curl Instructors play in this league so helpful advice is always close at hand! The name of the game is to relax and enjoy the game of curling with a friendly crew of curlers. If you are new to Lakefield it's a great group of folks to learn a bit of the local history from some of our long term residences. We are so chilled that the game scores are not compiled and there is no League Champion declared. If you are looking to curl in a mixed league at LCC we hope you will join the 'Matinee Crowd!'

Join our Two Person Stick Curling League — designed for curlers who use delivery sticks and enjoy a relaxed version of curling with no sweeping! Whether you're a seasoned stick curler or just trying it out, this league offers a welcoming space to stay in the game and have fun doing it.

Mixed Social Sunday Afternoon
Are you looking for a lively way to stay active, connect with fellow members, and enjoy some lighthearted competition? Our brand-new Mixed Tag Social Curling League is just the place! This league is all about fun and camaraderie, with a relaxed atmosphere where the joy of the game matters more than the scoreboard. Best of all, it’s FREE for all club members who are registered in at least one other league! Once a month, you’re welcome to invite friends and family to join in the excitement for a nominal fee.

About Us
We are the friendly curling club located in the Village of Lakefield about 10 minutes north of Peterborough. We welcome curlers from all over the Kawartha Lakes from places such as Youngs Point, Burleigh Falls, Bridgenorth, Curve Lake, Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Peterborough and more.
