Lakefield Team Wins Another Bonspiel at Omemee

Members of the Lakefield Curling Club put on another strong performance at the Smokey Joe's Bonspiel, March 5th, hosted by the Omemee Curling Club. The team, skipped by John Davis, with Vice Debbie Witshire, Second Sean Plumpton, and Lead Barbie McKee, put in a strong, two-win effort, and each came away with six Smokey's steaks for their efforts. 

The Omemee Curling Centre was thrilled to stage the event, and was pleased to host the returning Lakefield team, who have supported the OCC bonspiel for several years.

By press time, Davis had not disclosed the location or the date for the hotly-anticipated Bar-B-Que!!
