The Days Ladies League from the Lakefield Curling Club sent eight curlers to the Leads and Seconds Interclub games on Jan 17 and Feb 21. The Ennismore Curling Club hosted teams in the January game. Participants Karen Jones, Brenda O'Toole, Rosemarie Towns,Marianne Urke,Barbara Rivett Jackie Ouellette, Kathy Forgie, Lynda Frogie and Dorothy Couvier took part in a Tumbleweed game. Each player takes a turn being the skip and then rotates through the other positions as well. Bea O'Connell, an experienced skip and Leads and Seconds organizer with LCC, attended to give advice during play.
The Peterborough Curling Club hosted the February Tumbleweed game. Karen Jones,Vicki Wyatt,Lou Anne Hanes,Dorothy Couvier,Lynda Forgie,Marsha Northey and Carol Shaw represented the Lakefield CC at that event.
