Lakefield Ladies Curling Bonspiel- Lindsay- Willock Bonspiel Feb21-2

Five Lakefield teams competed in the Lindsay Willock Bonspiel on February 21st and 22nd. The team of Lois Cole, Bea O'Connell/Cathy Berges, Linda Kapron and Deb Shaw were runner-up to the winner in the "A". The team of Carol Kidd, Laurie Lang, Deb Wiltshire and Kathy Duncan were runner-up in the Consolation in the "A" event. The team of Ferne Sage, Susan Sayer, Tracy Klompmaker/Wendy Fucile and Brenda O'Toole were winners of the consolation in the "B" event. The team of Joanne Graham, Barb McKee, Kim Pirie and Darlene Hockaday were runner-up to the winner of the "C" event. The team of Diane Horner, Karen Fawcett, Fran Morton/KarenFry, Deb Nash had a great 2 days. One unique and entertaining aspect of this two day bonspiel is that a luncheon is hosted in several of the Lindsay Curling Club members' homes. It adds an additional opportunity to meet women curlers from all over the region.  Thanks goes out to the Lindsay Curling Club for hosting another great event.
