WELCOME TO THE 2021-2022 SEASON

The air's crisp, the Club's open, and it’s a great time to be a Canadian, eh? And you can’t wait to slip on your slider, strap on your helmet, and get out on the ice again.

Thanks to good planning, great leadership, a healthy rainy-day fund, and some welcome support from our governments, your Board managed the club through the COVID down-time in good financial shape. We mothballed the club, delayed some maintenance projects, and negotiated some cost reductions. So now we can look ahead.

Registration for the 2021-2022 season ran mostly on-line this year, using an upgrade to the club’s website – thanks to Membership Director Alison Armitage for such a successful launch of the new system. And thanks also to the League Executives, our Club Manager, our Ice Maker and your Directors, and epecially to a bunch of volunteers, all of whom absorbed the new requirements, put solutions in place, and got us back on the ice. 

Welcome to all our members who have returned for the new season. And welcome to a record number of new-to-the-club curlers; we're glad you're here! Everyone is getting used to the ongoing COVID practices, checking schedules and results on the new/under-construction website, and settling in.
