Between the Sheets Skins Spiel at Club a Great Success

On Saturday March 12th Lakefield Curling Club hosted its first Bonspiel in over two years. This Club member-event welcomed 64 enthusiastic curlers to an inspired St. Paddy’s Day lounge! A traditional, and delicious, homemade Irish stew was served for lunch, with mid-day Irish musical fun provided by Washboard Hank and Sweet Mountain Muriel, who stopped by to entertain the folks.
Event organizers Barb McKee, Jan Dutcher, and John Davis would like to thank our many Volunteers, Employees, Board of Directors, and all members who participated in making the day a success!

We are the friendly curling club located in the Village of Lakefield about 10 minutes north of Peterborough. We welcome curlers from all over the Kawartha Lakes from places such as Youngs Point, Burleigh Falls, Bridgenorth, Curve Lake, Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Peterborough and more.
